Today leaked photos appear to confirm that Windows 8.1 will reach RTM milestone this August before hitting retail shelves in October. Yes, it is only two months away until you can have your beloved start button again.
October seems more likely to witness the launch of Windows 8.1, mainly because Softies also need some time to gather feedback that is sent by a user who tries Preview build and then tweak the build stable.
