Microsoft | Sofware | ASUS and HP Unveils Tablet That Offers | Computer maker ASUS and HP reportedly getting ready to take on the Chinese market by storm with a new tablet PC that sports a reasonable price tag, including the 7-inch ASUS MeMO Pad 8GB HD 7 and the HP Slate 7.
An article about Mobilcom claims that ASUS plans to launch the HD Pad MeMO 7 (reserved exclusively for the Chinese market) before the end of this month to 999 yuan ($ 163 / € 125). HP Slate 7 will sport a similar cost in the country.
ASUS and HP are not the first company to release a cheap board in China, as Acer is already present in the market with a 7-inch Iconia tablet B1-A71 which costs 699 Yuan ($ 114 / € 87).
