Step 1: Make sure that you are running Opera version 15 or newer. If you are running an earlier version, you should upgrade to the latest version before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: On your Opera browser, visit the Downloads page of the Chrome extension, click the Add button to opera to install the add-on.


Step 3: After download Chrome extension is installed, visit the Google Chrome Web Store page in the Opera browser and look for extensions that you want to install Opera.

Step 4: Open the page that you want to install the extension, click Add to Opera button to install the extension on your browser.


Step 5: Once installed, a small pop-up bar will appear under the address bar says "extension is disabled because it's from an unknown source. Going to the extensions manager to activate it". However, during our testing, we noticed that the browser only shows a pop-up and not actually disable the extensions installed.


And if the extension has been installed defective and does not appear, click the Opera button located in the upper left corner of the window, and then click the extension to see the option Enable or Disable all extensions installed.



Please note that the above method lets you install only the extensions and web applications that are not available in the Chrome Web Store.
