Messaging app would replaced with Skype on Windows 8.1

Microsoft | Sofware | Messaging app would replaced with Skype on Windows 8.1 | Windows 8 is equipped with the Messaging app by default, but users of Windows 8.1 seems to have to say goodbye to the application. According to news circulating, Windows 8.1 Final will not be equipped with the Messaging application again. The application will be replaced with Skype!


It has also been indicated from Windows 8.1 Preview. If you noticed, Windows 8.1 Preview is not equipped with the default messaging application.

Maketh Skype as the default messenger app Windows 8.1 is not surprising. Skype is owned by Microsoft's own services, the results of its acquisition in October 2011. Skype has replaced Windows Live Messenger chat application and would be the default in the next version of Windows.
