Microsoft | Sofware | This is the Update Plan Windows Phone "Blue" | Microsoft has just released a minor update the details of Windows Phone 8, called General Distribution Release 2 (GDR2). This update feature enabled FM radio, the addition of Sense Data applications are no longer exclusive to a particular provider, some options to specify the default camera app Lens, updated HTML5 in IE, Gmail support CardDAV / CalDAV, Skype feature enhancements, and a few other minor updates. In general updates GDR2 just a minor update only.

No significant change in the updated Windows Phone 8 is rumored that Microsoft is focusing to develop Windows Phone update "Blue". Update will reportedly be released early in 2014 will include many changes such as notification center, improved multitasking, as well as changes in the built-in applications.

Microsoft may be updating some of the features of Windows Phone "Blue" into GDR3 this year, but only if the manufacturers such as Nokia asked. This is done so that Windows Phone still support the latest hardware to be released is manufacturing.

Previously Microsoft had been planning for more frequent update of Windows Phone 8. But some bugs in the GDR and test new chipset makes the update process to be delayed. Microsoft is now more focus on making Windows Phone supports the latest hardware-hardware released by manufacturers. GDR3 update reportedly will support the 5 and 6 inch screen 1080p resolution and quad-core chipset.

Of the plan, it looks like we will find a variety of new features and major overhaul in Windows Phone 8 in early 2014. Whereas in this year may only minor updates only we can get.
