First, in the Microsoft planned that the OEM-partners and customers will get it around the same time after the signing of RTM. But yesterday a report surfaced stating that the corporation changed its mind and has no plans to send the image ahead of time, even MSDN and TechNet subscribers.

Sources Mary Jo Foley reports that Microsoft has no plans to provide the final version of Windows 8.1 MSDN or TechNet subscribers shortly after the signature of RTM. This is terrible news for those who waited for her discharge to the network before its official launch in October, as was the case with the latest versions of Windows.

This time, Microsoft, with the launch date, will hand over the images on this day, instead of her first tested by IT professionals and developers. But maybe it's for the better. Many had high hopes for the update, considering that Windows 8.1 should fix Windows 8 as it did with Windows 7, Windows Vista.
