You can freeze rows and columns in your spreadsheet. To do this, select the cells above and to the left that you want to freeze columns and rows.
Click the View tab.
Click Freeze Panes on the Window tab and select View Freeze Panes from the drop-down menu.
Now you can browse the data while the row and column headings silent, as depicted in the first image in this article.
NOTE: Frozen rows and / or columns are marked with a thin black border.
For allowing the frozen rows and columns to move again, click Freeze Panes on the Window tab and select Unfreeze Panes View.
You can also just freeze rows or columns. For example, to freeze header rows to a long table, select the cell below the row (s) you want to freeze.
Click Freeze Panes on the Window tab and select View Freeze Top Row.
Now the title line (s) will stay in place as you scroll through your data.
